The Insurance is provided by ICICI Lombard. To raise a claim, visit your nearest IndusInd Bank Branch.

General Terms & Conditions:

  • All covers are valid on cards only when customer has done 1 POS/Ecommerce/ATM transactions in the last 90 days from the date of loss event happening.
  • For Air Accident, Ticket should have been bought from the respective card only.
  • For Purchase Protection, cover valid for purchases on respective IndusInd Bank Debit Card only. Cover valid for 90 days from the date of purchase of goods
  • In case of any claim, the claimant should inform IndusInd Bank by visiting the nearest branch within 7 days from the date of loss or damage
  • All documents to be submitted within 30 days from the date of intimation to ICICI Lombard by the bank
  • Any claim due to deliberate breach of law would not be payable
  • The settlement of claims would be done within 30 days after the receipt of last necessary documents submitted to ICICI Lombard. Any rejections if done, would be provided with proper reasons

How to claim Insurance:

  • In case of any claim, the claimant should inform IndusInd Bank by visiting the nearest branch within 7 days from the date of loss or damage
  • The claim to be intimated by IBL to ICICI Lombard within 7 working days from the date the bank is informed about the loss
  • IndusInd bank branch team to inform the claimant  about the documents required for processing the claim
  • The claimant should  submit the required  documents to ICICI LOMBARD through IndusInd Bank Branch
  • The admissibility of any claim will depend on the Terms & Condition of the policy, after positive review of the documents and investigation report submitted by the claimant. If applicable.
  • On admissibility, ICICI LOMBARD will make the payment to the beneficiary. The payment shall be made within 30 working days of receipt  of all complete documents, in case an investigation is not required and the document provided are not having any query/ambiguity

*PMJDY Insurance: All relevant terms and conditions of NPCI are applicable for this Insurance program. To raise a claim, visit your nearest IndusInd Bank Branch.

Claim Process:

  • All the claims where incident has happened in the financial year, should be intimated to the dedicated claims id rupay@newindia.co.in.
  • IndusInd bank branch team to inform the claimant about the documents required for processing the claim.
  • The claimant should submit the required documents to Insurance company through IndusInd Bank Branch
  • All supporting documents relating to the claim must be submitted within sixty (60) days from the date of intimation.
  • Claim intimation should be within Ninety (90) days from the date of accident. In case where a person is hospitalized (and under a critical condition) and is unable to file claim within 90 days of loss/incident such claim cases will be accepted by The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. for investigation and honoured, if all terms under the policy are met as on date of accident.
  • A printed copy of the captioned intimation email should be sent to The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. along with all other documents.
  • The eligible claims will be settled in ten (10) working days for PMJDY insurance from the date of receiving the complete documents set.
  • The admissibility of any claim will depend on the Terms & Condition of the policy, after positive review of the documents and investigation report submitted by the claimant. If applicable.
